Silent Library

This is a great example of Japanese humor. This sketch or skit, called "Silent Library", is an all star cast of Japanese comedians. The guy on the left in the middle (crew cut) is called Ma-chan. He is one of the two most famous comedians in Japan. The other most famous comedian is on the right, closest to the camera, Hama-chan. They are like the "Abbot and Costello" of Japan, and often lead a TV show called "Downtown" (of which this skit is embedded within), which is Japan's equivalent to Monty Python's Flying Circus television series.

The first one of the stunts in this show is poorly translated. In Japanese it says, "Nose Hair Plucking" but in English it says "Outwitted" ?!?!? Go figure where they got that from... Anyway, you can search you tube for the silent library to get more of these shows. I love it!

PS- If you like that, here is another link to another version of the show, and here is another.
