So this year, I not only celebrated Samhain (pronounced Sow-in, the original name for Halloween) but I taught a class on it as well. I made a Jack-O-Lantern mask at school and then I taught all of the kids how to make them. For those who are not technologically advanced enough to have a cell phone that has email and can send and take pictures, here are the pictures that I took with my phone.

After each class, there were around 35 kids with little pumpkin masks on. I heard a few times that the teacher of the next class got a little irritated because the students didn't want to remove their masks. (Damn math teachers) Then we used a laptop computer and a projector to show them pictures of pumpkin carving, as seen here with this picture of my brother and I (me at about 16, my bro at about 11),

as well as some of the pictures of the Halloween parties from last year in the Denver links on the left.
Then we used said computer and projector to let them experience a little Halloween spirit by having a volunteer from
the class click through this site.
So, that’s it for Halloween, hope yours was fun.

1.“Hey, Ma! Haiv you seen muh Daiddy?”
“Yais, darlin’, hees ayoutside feeding d’asses.”
2.”John! Where have you been until 3am?!?”
“Sorry honey, but me and the boys were just at the strip club looking at d’asses.”
3. And whenever I find myself in need of a wafery, chocolatey snack, I reach for a big box of…
