桜(sakura) is Japanese for cherry blossom or cherry tree. They bloom in early April and are very vivid for a few weeks, then they turn a normal, boring green like everything else. Not, that there is anything wrong with green; hell, I have green boogers. I just think it would be cool if the leaves would be able to photosynthesize with their pink color.

My friend Taka came to visit at that time, and my friend Dai and took us to a local mountain so we could see a whole forest of them. Nestled in the mountain was a really cool rope ride that Taka, Dai and I all had a ride one. So, it is only about four months late, but better late than never. I purposely saved the picture files rather large, so they can be used as desktop images. Also, there are two sakura panoramic pictures in the panoramic sections.
