地震 and Amy

The islands of Japan apparently love to move around quite a lot. I hope my friends are ok in the midst of all of this seismic activity... Hopefully the movement will slow to a waltz (instead of shaking like Elvis Presley's hips) by the time I arrive on the 22nd of November.

Fittingly, the Japanese word of the day is 地震 - JISHIN (earthquake).

Also, my friend Amy hates to have her picture taken, so the other day at a dinner with our friends I snuck two pictures of her with my camera phone. Here they are. Everyone should comment on the posting and tell her how stupid her cameraphobia is because it is REAAALLLLLY annoying. TAKE THAT AMY!!!!! HAHAAA!
